Biography
Robert Cull is an economist in the World Bank's Development Research Group. Prior to joining the Bank, he was an economist at the United States Department of Commerce and taught economics at the University of California at Los Angeles.
Bob has written primarily on the evolution of public and private institutions to resolve financial market failures including International Capital Movements and American Economic Growth, 1820-1914 (Cambridge University Press). His current research focuses on privatization and foreign entry in the banking sectors of developing countries.
