Terry Anderson

Biography
Dr. Anderson is the visiting professor of entrepreneurship at Stanford University, where he teaches a class on environmental entrepreneurialism at the Stanford Business School. He is also the John and Jean DeNault senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the executive director of the Political Economy Research Center in Bozeman, Montana, a non-profit institute that develops market solutions to environmental problems.
Dr. Anderson's specific environmental interests include water allocation, national park management, and international endangered species protection. He is the author or editor of twenty books, including Breaking the Environmental Policy Gridlock, Water Markets: Priming the Invisible Pump, Wildlife in the Marketplace, and Free Market Environmentalism.
Dr. Anderson has taught economics at Montana State University, and has been a visiting scholar at Oxford University, Cornell University Law School, and the University of Basel. He was also awarded a Fulbright Research Fellowship to Canterbury University.
Dr. Anderson earned his PhD in economics from the University of Washington.
