William Kovacic

Biography
Bill Kovacic is a professor of law at George Washington University School of Law. He teaches antitrust, contracts, government contracts, property, and unfair trade practices. He is counsel to the law firm of Bryan Cave in Washington, DC, where he practices with the firm's antitrust and government contracts groups. Mr. Kovacic is also an associate faculty member at the Rutgers University Center for Research in Regulated Industries.
Mr. Kovacic spent four years with the Federal Trade Commission, and has served as an advisor on antitrust and consumer protection issues to the governments of Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Russia, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe. Mr. Kovacic is co-editor of Research in Law and Economics and is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Regulatory Economics. Among his other writings, he is coauthor with Ernest Gellhorn of the fourth edition of Antitrust Law and Economics in a Nutshell.
Mr. Kovacic earned his JD from Columbia University and his BA from Princeton University.
