Veronique de Rugy debunks myths about US taxes on Bloomberg's Reality Check, including who the "Top 10%" of earners in America are, and how much they pay in taxes.

“There is a lot of confusion about top income earners,” says de Rugy. “You know how much income it takes to make it to the top 10 percent? One-hundred fourteen thousand dollars. If you’re a policeman making $60,000, and you get married to a teacher making $60,000, as a household, you are in the top 10 percent.”
