Adam Burke is a PhD student in anthropology at Texas A&M University. His research interests include characterizing the variability of tool stone resources exploited by late Paleoindian and early Archaic hunter-gatherers in Florida to inform past human economic behavior in the region. Adam earned an MA in archaeology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a BA in history from Wilkes University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2018-2019, 2019-2022, and 2021-2022 academic years and a Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
