Alec Crisman is a PhD student in Political Science at McGill University. He earned a BS in Political Science from the University of Oregon. He was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 academic years, and a Don Lavoie Fellow during the 2020-2021 academic year. His dissertation aims to sketch out the details of a modus vivendi arrangement that can achieve political and moral buy-in from nonliberals and citizens with nonliberal sympathies, and suggests devolution of political power to states and municipalities and the weakening or removal of certain constitutional rights.
