Augustine Achu is a PhD student in political science at Howard University. His research interests include the relation between states in the international arena vis-a-vis the intersection of international law and power politics, the relevance and survival of international institutions, and peacebuilding in post-conflict societies. Augustine earned an MA in international relations & diplomacy and a BS in political science and government & public administration from Imo State University and an MA in international peace & conflict resolution from American University.
