Cole James is a PhD student in Philosophy at Bowling Green State University. He earned an MA in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from the University of Leeds and a BA in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina. He was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. His research focuses on local politics, in particular people’s ability to make a difference, community/connectedness, and the ability of local politics to solve problems efficiently.
