Brandon Folse

Brandon Folse is a PhD student in sociology at the University of Oregon. His research interests include mobility, markets, and consumption, focusing on the increasingly popular citizenship acquisition method known as “birth tourism.” Brandon earned an MA in Asian studies from the University of Oregon and a BA in history and English literature from Nicholls State University. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester and a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
