David Aratuo

David Aratuo is a PhD student in peace & conflict studies at George Mason University. His research interests include how natural resources, particularly depletable and non-renewable natural resources, shape development in some countries while producing negative consequences in others. David earned an MSc in agriculture & natural resources from West Virginia University, an MA in development studies from the International Institute of Social Studies and a BBA in human resource management from Valley View University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
