Elham Shahsavar Zadeh

Elham Shahsavar is a D.Phil. student in social anthropology at York University. Her research interests include the relationship between materiality and immateriality and the ways in which value is produced and invested in certain artifacts through discursive acts, representational regimes, generative labor, and consumer culture. Elham earned an MA in sociology from University of Montreal, an MA in social science research from University of Tehran, and a BA in industrial design from Iran University of Science and Technology.
