Hoan (Lana) La

Hoan (Lana) La is a PhD student in Political Science at Texas Tech University. She earned an MPA from Murray State University and a BA in Online Newspaper from the Academy of Journalism and Communication. She was a Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. Her research interests include exploring the dynamics of international conflicts and their influence on women’s well-being, particularly considering the political economic factors that may play a role in this relationship. Her research focuses on the impacts of economic sanctions and armed conflicts on women’s health.
