James Gillard is a PhD student in Philosophy at the The University of Texas at Austin. He earned an MA in Philosophy from Georgia State University, an MTS in Theological Studies from Harvard University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from University of Oxford. He was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 and 2019-2020 academic years and a Don Lavoie Fellow during the 2020-2021 academic year. His research focuses on blame and moral knowledge.
