Janisa Hui

Janisa Hui is a PhD student in school psychology at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests focus on children’s mental health and its relation to social structures, with particular emphasis on early childhood development and markets for kindergarten interview preparation services in Hong Kong. Janisa earned an EdM in human development & psychology from Harvard University, and a BA in American studies and language & communication from The University of Hong Kong. She was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat fellow for the 2021-2022 academic year.
