Jeffrey Colgan is a PhD student in Philosophy at Tulane University. He earned an MA in Public Policy from The University of Chicago, an MA in Philosophy from The Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York, and a BA in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College. He was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. His research interests include the methodological concerns surrounding the identification of relevant economic and political data, how motivating economic and political values are established, and how these values relate to metaphysical commitments.
