John Yajalin

John Yajalin is a PhD student in geography at the University of Bayreuth. His research interests include how internal migration influences political participation in Ghanaian urban slums. John earned an MPhil in development studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BA in political science from the University of Ghana. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2019-2020 and 2021-2022 academic years, and he was also a Don Lavoie Fellow during the 2020-2021 academic year.
