Jose Morales-Arilla is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Politics at Princeton University. His research interests include using spatial analysis, causal inference, and machine learning to address questions on the political economy of current development issues including inequality, discrimination, violence, conflict, migration, international trade, and economic growth. Morales-Arilla earned a PhD in Public Policy and an MPA from Harvard University, and a BA in Economics from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2019-20 academic year and a Mercatus Center Oskar Morgenstern Fellow during the 2021-22 academic year.
