Karl Johnson is a PhD student in health policy & management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research interests include the application of complexity science to community-based problems in public health. Karl earned a BA in economics from Johns Hopkins University. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester and a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
