Katie Wright

Katie Wright is a senior researcher at the Proprety and Environment Research Center (PERC). She is an expert on water policy, focusing on exploring solutions to western water scarcity. Her other research interests include include climate risk, property rights, natural resources, and market-based solutions to environmental issues. Katie earned a PhD in sustainability from Arizona State University and a BA in economics from Hillsdale College. She was a Mercatus Oskar Morgenstern Fellow during the 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2022-23 academic years and a Mercatus Visiting Dissertation Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
