Krystal-Gayle O’Neill is a PhD candidate in Global Governance & Human Security at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her research interests include the decriminalization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer sexualities in the anglophone Caribbean. Krystal-Gayle earned an MA in Conflict Resolution from UMass Boston, an M.Phil. in Social Sciences from Wesleyan University, an MSc in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University, and a BEd from The University of Technology, Jamaica. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester and a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
