Lucas Garcez is a Ph.D. candidate in economics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. His research is focused on applied microeconomics topics, particularly on the impacts of migration flows induced by trade shocks. Lucas earned an MS in economics from the University of Delaware. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the Fall 2020 semester.
