Malik Hussain is a third year PhD student in the Department of Economics at George Mason University. He earned an M.Phil in Economics from the Centre of Economic Studies and Planning at Jawaharlal Nehru University in India, where he was a Teaching Assistant for postgraduate level Macroeconomics. He also holds a Masters in Development Economics from South Asian University, New Delhi. He obtained his Bachelor’s in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, India. His research interests lie in Development Economics, Political Economy and Macroeconomics.
