Malte Hendrickx is a PhD student in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He earned an MPhil in Philosophy from the University of Tübingen, and a Bachelor of Culture and Economics from Mannheim University. He was a Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2019-2020, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 academic years. His research interests include cognitive control and applies psychological insights to explain philosophical concepts such as difficulty, effort, agency, and moral demandingness.
