Mariam Sedighi

Mariam Sedighi is a PhD student in educational policy studies and curriculum and instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include the relationships between educational discourses and global networks of knowledge. Her dissertation historicizes the different epistemological principles that give intelligibility to entrepreneurship knowledge as it is promoted in national policies and taught in classrooms. Mariam earned an MA in education policy from the University of Melbourne, an MA in English language and literature from Shiraz University and a BA in English language and literature from Shahid Beheshti University. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years.
