Marion Lougheed is a PhD student in social anthropology at York University. Her research interests include examining how adolescents at an international school map and negotiate their identities and relationships in local, national, and international communities, against the backdrop of rising right-wing populism and neonationalism in Germany. Marion earned an MA in anthropology from Simon Fraser University and a BA in social & cultural anthropology from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
