Martina Beretta is a DPhil student in Social Policy at the University of Oxford. She earned an MS in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, Catholic University of Louvain, & University of Namur and a BS in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University. She was an Elinor Ostrom Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. Her research uses a sociological perspective to investigate the association between inequality and intergenerational social class mobility. She is mainly focused on whether and how inequality may influence an individual’s educational and labor market choices.
