Atiq Rahman is a PhD student in economics at The University of New Mexico. His research interests include environmental and resource economics, development economics, and health economics, with particular emphasis on the effects of air pollution, natural disasters, and climate change on various economic and health outcomes. Atiq earned an MA in environmental economics from The University of New Mexico and an MSS and BSS in economics from the University of Dhaka.
