Michael Araki is a PhD student in entrepreneurship & innovation at the University of Louisville. His research interests include the interplay of the acquisition and creation of knowledge, entrepreneurship, and innovation, with a special focus on regional innovation networks and the effects of non-compete laws on collaborative innovation. Michael earned a PhD in business administration and an MSc in business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a BA in business management from Veiga de Almeida University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
