Nayeli Riano

Nayeli Riano is a PhD student in government at Georgetown University. Her research interests include nineteenth-century Latin American political thought and its French Enlightenment influences on conceptions of nation-building and identity-formation, with a broader examination of the nationalism-cosmopolitanism debate through a liberal framework. Nayeli earned an MLitt in intellectual history from University of St Andrews and a BA in English from University of Pennsylvania.
