Paloma Cuello del Pozo

Paloma Cuello is a PhD student in anthropology at Texas A&M University. Her research interests include subsistence and mobility patterns among ancient Canary Islanders, using multiple approaches such as stable isotope analyses from archaeological human bones and teeth, ancient genetics, and radiocarbon dating. Paloma earned an MA in applied anthropology from Humboldt State University and a BA in anthropology and religion from University of California, San Diego. She was a Mercatus Center Oskar Morgenstern Fellow during the 2021-2022 academic year.
