Sean Alvarez

Sean Alvarez is a PhD student in Economics at the Middle Tennessee State University. He earned an MA in Economics from Middle Tennessee State University and a BS in Economics from Troy University. He was a Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2022-2023 academic year. His research interests include the political economy of slave hiring and manumission in the Antebellum South.
