Wayne Wang is a PhD candidate in law and technology at the University of Hong Kong. His research interests focus on the intersection between law and emerging technologies (e.g. AI, Govtech and Regtech), with particular emphasis on the influence of regulation on national innovation and social entrepreneurship. Wayne earned an MPhil in law, science, & technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, an LLM in intellectual property from the World Intellectual Property Organization and Queensland University of Technology, and an LLB and BEng in energy engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
