Zach Porreca is a PhD student in economics at West Virginia University. His research interests include the economics of law and crime. In particular, he analyzes various theories on the interplay between law and crime and whether these theories can be tested using big data and contemporary empirical methods. Zach earned a BA in economics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
