Adam Michel is a PhD student in economics at George Mason University and a policy analyst in the Thomas A. Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies at the Heritage Foundation. He earned an MA in economics from George Mason University and a BA in politics from Whitman College. Previously, Adam was a program manager for the Spending and Budget Initiative at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and an alum of the Mercatus MA Fellowship program. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-2016 academic year and a Mercatus Center Frederic Bastiat fellow.
