Benjamin Brophy

Director of Digital Strategy

Benjamin Brophy is the Director of Digital Strategy for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. Originally from New Jersey, Ben currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife Marion. He came to Washington in order to pursue his graduate degree at American University. Previously, Ben has worked on Capitol Hill. After that, Ben joined Malaria No More, a non-profit dedicated to helping eliminate malaria deaths by 2015. In 2011, Ben joined The Public Notice as their New Media Director. While there, Ben led the relaunch of the Bankrupting America website as well as the launch of the Washington Could Learn a Lot campaign. His most recent position was with The American Spectator where he headed up their digital efforts. He loves all things Philadelphia sports and his two cats.
