Technology and innovation are driving forces behind economic growth. As technology expands, quality of life rises across the globe. New technologies always run the risk of having both good and bad uses, but we shouldn’t let fear of the bad prevent us from enjoying the good.

Mercatus Center technology policy scholars Jerry Brito, Eli Dourado, and Adam Thierer will discuss the emerging technologies of drones, Bitcoin, and 3D printing focusing on:

  • the benefits of these new technologies; and
  • how proper policy can allow them to flourish.

Space is limited. Please register online for this event.

The event is free and open to all congressional and federal agency staff. This event is not open to the general public. Food will be provided. Due to space constraints, please no interns. Questions? Please contact Erin Connolly, Events Associate, at econnolly@mercatus.gmu.edu or (703) 993-9913.
