Event Speakers
Should you have foreseen the rise of Bitcoin?
What's in store for the future of Uber and other Silicon Valley giants? How is Washington politics affecting the financial sector and wider economy?
It's anybody's guess. But Bloomberg View columnists and economic experts Matt Levine and Tyler Cowen can get us closer to the answers.
Kick off 2018 with a special Conversations with Tyler, co-hosted by Bloomberg and the Mercatus Center on January 29th. Matt and Tyler will discuss financial and other futures, plus a fair bit of the past, and answer your questions.
According to Tyler, when it comes to law, economics, and finance, "Matt knows literally everything." Before joining Bloomberg View, Matt Levine was an editor of Dealbreaker, an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and a clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Tyler Cowen too writes for Bloomberg View. He is also the Holbert L. Harris Chair of Economics at George Mason University, co-founder of the blog Marginal Revolution and general director of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
