Brian Blase

Former Senior Research Fellow

The Affordable Care Act is failing to meet many of its supporters’ expectations. Enrollment is much lower than projected, premiums are increasing, deductibles are rising, and provider networks are shrinking. The law is not working as intended, and it faces uncertain prospects moving forward.

Please join us for a lunch discussion with Mercatus Senior Research Fellow Brian Blase, whose research explores the impact of the Affordable Care Act and problems with health care entitlement programs. You will gain a greater understanding of the ways Obamacare isn’t working as planned, what may happen with the law under a new Congress and president, and ideas for improving health care policy. In addition, Brian will discuss the effects of Medicaid expansion in Arizona.

This is not a fundraising event, and there is no charge to join us. We are pleased to have you as our guest to show our thanks and appreciation to our donors. Dress is business casual. Please invite friends or associates who might be interested.

To RSVP for yourself and your guests, please contact Andrea Roncal at aroncal@mercatus.gmu.edu or 703-993-9886.
