Jolyne Sanjak

Managing Director for Implementation Support, Department of Compact Implementation at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)

Dr. Jolyne Sanjak is the Managing Director for Implementation Support in the Department of Compact Implementation at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Previously, she served as Senior Director leading the Agriculture and Land teams and as MCC’s Practice Leader for Property Rights and Land Policy, with responsibility for assessing the relevant aspects of MCC Compact development, for oversight of Compact implementation and for providing guidance in regard to the land rights and access selection indicator and related threshold program activities. Prior to joining MCC, Dr. Sanjak worked as lead specialist on property rights and land policy and on rural development in USAID’s Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean and as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the State University of New York at Albany.

Dr. Sanjak’s focus at the MCC includes agriculture, land tenure, finance, private sector development, fiscal accountability and monitoring and evaluation.
