In this testimony, Maurice McTigue discusses the state of implementation of the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993. GPRA is a valuable tool for improved government accountability and productive change. There are four distinct stages in the implementation of this Act: planning, implementation, disclosure, and utilization of the information provided by GPRA. Thus far, there has been appreciable improvement in the level of disclosure.
