Karla Segovia is a program manager for Academic & Student Programs at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, where she works on the Markets & Society conference and journal. She is also an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College, where she teaches economic courses. Karla holds a PhD in Economics from George Mason University and is an alum of the Mercatus Joseph Schumpeter Fellowship. Her research focuses on economic sociology, immigrant life, and foreign intervention in Latin America.
