How Special Interests Hide the True Costs of Tariffs
The media has shown a spotlight on the victims of tariffs in recent months. But those that stand to lose from trade restrictions are never given their due attention. That's because, in many cases, the agencies responsible for trade decisions are statutorily barred from considering the interests of consumers and "downstream" industries.
