The Mercatus Center hosted a conversation with policy experts discussing how regulations can increase income inequality and poverty rates, weaken economic growth, and hurt small businesses and individuals.
The policy experts discussed how adverse effects of poorly designed regulations impact small businesses, new business creation, consumer prices, and poverty rates, what reforms have worked in Canada that would work well in the US, why regulations accumulate, and what to do to stop regulations from becoming burdensome.
