Maurice P. McTigue

Vice President, Outreach

Is a significant reduction in government spending really possible in this day and age?

It all depends on leadership, says Maurice McTigue, Vice President of the Mercatus Center and a former member of the New Zealand parliament, who has seen real change take place with the right individuals at the executive and congressional helms.

Please join the Mercatus Center and the Illinois Policy Institute for a discussion on how strong leadership can drive reform and what that means for the competitiveness of both Illinois and the United States. Maurice will be joined by Ted Dabrowski, Vice President of Policy at the Institute, who has worked extensively on promoting reform at the state level.

This is not a fundraising event and there is no charge to join us. We are pleased to have you as our guest to show our thanks and appreciation to our donors. Dress is business casual. Please invite friends or associates who might be interested.

To RSVP for yourself and your guests, contact Erin Connolly at econnol4@gmu.edu or (703) 993-9913.
