Champions of free markets and small government are winning the battle of ideas. That's right: winning.

Don’t believe it? Come hear Mercatus Senior Research Fellow Veronique de Rugy explain how, when, and why ideas once thought radical are succeeding in unexpected ways across the United States.

Veronique will show how we’re still reaping benefits from intellectual entrepreneurship like that of Milton Friedman and Friedrich Hayek. It’s true: sound economic scholarship is reducing government spending and regulation and increasing individual freedom and well-being. Questions are encouraged, so get ready for a lively conversation!

In appreciation for your support, you’ll be our guest at this lunch. This is not a fundraising event, and there is no charge to join us. Please do invite friends or associates who might be interested in this talk or in learning more about the Mercatus Center. Dress is business casual.

To RSVP for this event, please contact Brittany Hemsath at bhemsath@mercatus.gmu.edu or (703) 993-8297.
