Martin Krause is Professor of Institutional Economics and Business Economics at the ESEADE Graduate School, Buenos Aires, and was appointed Dean in 2002 a position he held until 2006. He is now Director of the Research Center on Institutions and Markets CIIMA/ESEADE.

He is Visiting Professor of Economics at the Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala, and is a member of the Mont Pèlerin Society. He has published several books, including: Economía para emprendedores, En Defensa de los Más Necesitados y Proyectos por una Sociedad Abierta (together with Alberto Benegas Lynch Jr and Democracia Directa (together with Margarita Molteni), various chapters in books, and many articles in academic journals, magazines and newspapers across Latin America.
