New York City Supporter and Friend Lunch

Feb 21, 2012
12:00pm1:30pm

Please join Mercatus Center senior research fellow Veronique de Rugy for lunch and a discussion on how to fix our country’s fiscal crisis.

“Even in times of crisis, politicians are driven more by politics than by good public policy,” argues Veronique. “This is why Washington has a spending problem. And, like any addict going through the throes of withdrawal, Washington is doing everything it can do to avoid kicking its spending habit.”

Veronique will show how Washington can and must go cold turkey on its overspending habit if this country is to survive. She will even demonstrate how politicians would benefit from these spending cuts.

This is not a fundraising event, and there is no charge to join us. We are pleased to have you as our guest to show our thanks and appreciation to our donors. Dress is business casual. Please invite friends or associates who might be interested.

To RSVP to yourself and your guests, please contact Ashley Schiller at aschille@gmu.edu or (703) 993-9228.
