Erik Matson is a Senior Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center and deputy director of the Adam Smith Program in the Department of Economics at George Mason University. His research interests include eighteenth-century British moral philosophy and political economy, Adam Smith, David Hume, history of liberalism, the role of theology in the history of economic thought, ethics and economics, and economic methodology.
