Andrea Beltrán-Lizrazo

Andrea Beltrán-Lizrazo is a PhD student in Sociology at Boston University. She earned an MA in Sociology from Paris 8 University Vincennes-Saint-Denis and a BA in Government & International Relations from Externado University of Colombia. Her research focuses on the extraterritorial expansion of American penal power, analyzing the institutional mechanisms behind the emergence and consolidation of extradition as a penal practice.
