Ashruta Acharya

Ashruta Acharya is a PhD student in Economics at George Mason University. She earned an MA and a BBA in Economics from Wichita State University. She was a PhD Fellow during the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 academic years. Her research focuses on institutions in Nepal. In particular, she uses monetary policy, economic history, and applied economics to better understand how international relations constrain Nepal's economic opportunities.
